of both worlds

GET THE BEST

OFFERING PHOTOS & VIDEO CLIPS

We all have our heroes in life, and for me, when it comes to photography I have the utmost respect for this guy. Jared Polin, also known as Fro, for his amazing hair, is a blogger that is not only very animated but extremely good at what he dose. If you didn't get what it is that he does best, well it's everything photography! Not just a superhero in the game, but guiding all of us to find our inner superheroes.

This screenshot is from a recent post of he has up, on his youtube page, I have linked this photo to that relevant post. This post was very humbling and showed off the respect that Jared has for his watchers. Here he dives into a self-challenge to photograph his home/loft that he is currently (Apr 18, 2020) preparing to part with. You would never imagine the work that goes into staging a place for rental in order to find the right buyer. That is if you gave two shakes! But after sitting through the entire 49min and 3 sec of the video I was left with this feeling as commented on his youtube page.

Damn! Fro No Photo?

This dude served it! Looking at the photos that were critiqued the guest designer did know what he was saying. I did feel a bit distracted by the amount of info being presented and was disconnected by the space. Now the tree last ones, especially the one with the horse and the piano with the accent of the stoplights... Dude, I immediately said to my self, I could die in that space!! Same with the front on view of the front room... OMG!! I guess what he is saying is that that genre of photography is all about art! Your place should be a gallery for the viewer to imagine themself living in.

The floor plan will convey the space, but the eye needs to feed the desire of the heart. Comfort... That dude rocked! I could see you were becoming more and more uncomfortable with every review. I was laughing like crazy because I know how it feels to do your best, be proud of what you have done, expect the praises to start raining in.. Then, Boom! This dude right here!! Right? Hats off to both of you, I love your work Fro Bro! and appreciate your opening up this to the world. It makes me feel good to know that we all have our strengths. Too often I am looking at everyone's work and saying, I only I was that good, or I could never be as good as that guy! Now I know that's true! I guess we all have two things to learn here. 1. Sometimes, according to the level of professionalism, we are looking for, the simplest projects are best left to the experts.2. Letting down our guards can open us up to a wealth of knowledge we would have never receive had we never done so..I'm sure I speak for a number of viewers when I say to you sir, thank you so much. This has been both entertaining and humbling. gear and knowledge are not the only things needed in becoming a professional. Sometimes heart and soul dictates what feels right aesthetically, and someone that is already producing the work that you would like to shear space with professionally, who has in time developed that heart and soul-driven eye for protection, maybe the one person or persons that we may need to reach out to. There are still good people out there that are willing to give it to us straight for our own road to growth.. Please visit Jared Polin's YouTube page if you from Mars and never heard about him to catch up on many photography topics, tips and tricks, and reviews that will assist even the most novice photographers to become better at what they love.

Again I'm kind of new to blogging and I'm just expressing how I feel about things. Please give feedback to help me get better at this thing. What did you think after watching the video?

There is an upside and a downside.

Let's face it, 2020 sucks when it comes to wedding plans. There are so many restrictions and fears that it seems best to reschedule the whole thing for early next year. For many that has been the best choice although many months of planning for that perfect date has blown away like a bad sneeze, and the new problem is, trying to find a new date at the same backed up venue location that you were fortunate to get before the outbreak took place. And forget traveling abroad to pickup that dress you wanted to try on so badly to see how much pounds you need to shed to make it fit! Yup, this one is a wedding bummer!

Seems like there is no upside to it all right? Well unless your unwilling to make some drastic chances the aren't! But the good news is there may be a way to keep your date with some major tweeks. So here it goes.

Know your allowances.

As of recent all gathering over 10 persons are prohibited, so first off we have to think small. Let's go bear bone here. Who is needed. Well the officiant (1) the bride and groom (2,3) two witnesses (4,5) someone to capture the memories (6) and 4 of your besties. Okay you have your list of physical guest. You can think of it as your royal wedding going viral because all your friends and family will attend your wedding virtually. Besides capturing your wedding day on film and creating the prefect moments leading up to your relaxed non-stressful wedding moments, (okay, that's impossible during a pandemic!) Your ceremony can be streamed live on a public or private social media platform. With multiple views, you can have all the love from your loved ones shared.

Select your location.

Beaches are great but currently, most beaches around the world are closed. So what's a viable alternative if you want that cool waterside look and feel? Find a friend who has a good pool deck you can use. A pool side wedding is a great location for a relaxed or elegant design when setting up your small wedding venue.

Parks are closed for events, but a back yard can be ideal and beautiful. Seek out some homes in your community that wouldn't mind renting out their backyard for your wedding event. With the economy as it is, I'm sure most will be happy to oblige.

Churches are a hotspot for unnecessary attention right now, and not the safest when it comes to picking up viruses unfortunately, but a well decorated home is both different, safe and adequate. It's time to think outside the box!

Your home may be the perfect place for your small wedding. If you prefer not to use your home, rent a vacation home or cottage for a day or weekend.

Decorators

Your designers can go to the venue location of your choice to setup and pull down at specific times, not to cross up with your scheduled event.

Sound system

At this point There is actually no need for a sound system set up at your event. Your wedding film crew should have you miked up for the best possible audio capture.

Gathering your team

Locating an officiant that can work your wedding while adhering to the laws of your area should be easy. To keep your moment special it would be good to use your local ministers that knows you well, that way you can be sure that they will say something meaningful to you both. Not that someone that dosen't know you cannot do the same, but rather than a generic speech the officiant will lend real dialog to your wedding and your wedding film.

The best man and maid of honor should be key players that will also lend to a huge part of telling your story. The story can be about you as a couple or as individuals. But it should be told from their prospective. Make sure they prepare this weeks or even month's in advance. Do not leave this for a last minute or impromptu dialogue the day of. This will give them time to go over it a bit and tweek where needed with time to spear When filming your wedding remember, dialog is key. With that said, take the time to put in words all that your expected love means to you. Do the work and write your vows, I cannot tell you how hard it is to build a wedding film with no story. Dialog is key! Along with the vows you should make a small love note for your betrothed to add to your love story. You can write a love note or use your cell phone to videotape a message with a kiss. However you do it, is up to you. Again, dialog is key! Make it special, but most of all. Make it happen.

Your 4 guest may have to draw straws if you have a difficult time selecting them. The downside is everyone is going to want to be there but you can only select four.

Be sure to find those matching face masks for the bridal party, and have plenty hand sanitizer on hand. You will not likely have a reception, but a small get together with a few friends keeping socially distant while sharing the same space.

You may want to rent 5 tables to seat couples separately and self serve one couple at a time. Another option is to hire a caterer to prepare plates. Because there will be only a few guest, the caterer can leave directly after serving guest is done, whether it's a three course meal or a single plate. In keeping safe, it's best to keep numbers down as soon as ppssible.

Product Deliveries

There will be delays in receiving your enlargements but video delivery can be done online and your photo gallery can also be delivered without delay. If it were me I would wait until the passing of this pandemic, but for those of you that just don't want to wait this may be a good option to consider.

This is my first blog! Please tell me what you think.

Thanks.
